Sunrise Mountain High School encourages students to dress for success. These standards for student attire will address an important goal of high school and is to teach acceptable career appearance, skills, and conduct. A student’s appearance should not disrupt or distract from the educational environment of the school. The school principal or his designees have the right to determine which types of dress or appearance are not acceptable and have the authority to grant exceptions for special occasions. These standards apply in conjunction with the CCSD Regulation 5131 – School Dress. Violations of the dress code (as with other school violations) will result in progressive disciplinary action.
